Pacific Timesheet Enhances Text Notifications for Construction and Field Workforce Time Tracking

Expanded SMS alerts complement email notifications to help construction and field employees resolve timesheet issues, accelerate approvals, and reduce payroll delays

Las Vegas, Nevada — May 12, 2026 — Pacific Timesheet, a provider of cloud-based time tracking, job costing, and workforce management software, today announced enhancements to its text notification capabilities for construction, field service, and distributed workforces.

The enhanced SMS notification capabilities complement Pacific Timesheet’s existing email notices, giving organizations additional ways to reach employees and supervisors when timesheets, approvals, or other time-sensitive workforce actions require attention.

Construction and field employees often work away from a desk and may not regularly monitor corporate email. Text notifications can provide a more immediate way to alert employees about missing or rejected timesheets and notify supervisors when timecards are waiting for approval.

Pacific Timesheet crew managers, approvers, field managers, payroll, project accounting, and system administrators can now view the status of all crews in the system on one dashboard. The dashboard allows users to see summary crew data for any date range providing complete visibility into the crew time tracking process across the enterprise. Crew Dashboard leverages Pacific Timesheet's system security permissions which extend and restrict crew dashboard access by various user rights and priviliges.
